The use of bicycles is not yet widespread in Senegal. However, the benefits and impact of this means of transport in the country are becoming more and more obvious.​

We believe that sustainable development can also be achieve through bicycles.

We work on different projects in order to develop small activities and businesses around cycling.

Bike rental points for the local population when they make small trips;

Agreements with hotels and camps to rent bikes to their clients;

Training of bicycle mechanics;

Our projects
POINT VÉLO - Promotion and Development Center to popularise bike as a sport and a mean of integration in Palmarin (Fatick).

Point Vélo has a small bicycle repair shop and a rental and sell shop. It employs two people from the village and enables the inhabitants of Palmarin and the entire region to find a place where they can discover the world of cycling.
THE BICYCLE FACTORY - Assembling and Storage Center of the baobikes of the Bicycles for Education project.
​
​The Bicycle Factory is the place where the baobikes are assembled and stored before their delivery to the schools at the beginning of each school year.
This building, where the different mechanics of the projet work, was built in 2019 next to Point Vélo, on a land donated by the Lluís Llach Foundation.​
